Preparing to Leave
As she prepares to leave to Canada, Anshu takes advantage of services offered by the Canadian Immigration Integration Project (CIIP). CIIP is a project funded by Human Resources and Social Development Canada and managed by the Association of Canadian Community Colleges. It helps immigrants in the final stage of their immigration process to prepare for integration to the Canadian labour market.

My husband and myself are newcomers here,eight months back. My husband has thirteen year experience in a pharmaceutical company back home. He was tested by one of the well known Canadian pharmaceutical companies. He got good marks in his exam. After sometime when he asked the company for a job, the company told that him they had a suitable person for this post. His experience was much too high. So, I want to say that high experience is suitable for only a Canadian labour market job, not for a post appropriate to an immigrants qualifications. Why are things like this?

I am a newcomer here. Five months back, I came here but still without work despite 15 years experience of back home. According to employment agencies I can't get any office job because I don't have canadian experience. I just ask a question that I don't have labour work or factory work experience so why do you offer such kind of job. I am unable to understand this contradiction.
